One of London’s most iconic music hubs, Fabric, is turning 23 and has found a unique way to commemorate the milestone with its first outdoor music festival – Exodus. The festival will span over 2 days, the 8th and 9th of July in 2023, and will be held at an exotic venue on the outskirts of London, with the location yet to be announced. "After nearly a quarter of a century celebrating and enjoying the nightlife in our London home, we're taking fabric outside of the EC1 basement with a new outdoor summer gathering [spot] which mirrors our ethos and the music we love," - Cameron Leslie, Co-founder. Explaining the motivation further, he discusses how the idea was birthed from the desire to do something unique. "The amazing journey we've been on with our venue continues, but now feels like a good time to do something different." - Cameron Leslie. The festival will be organized and managed by the existing team of club Fabric and will feature a lineup of electronic music artists and DJs that have long been associated with the club’s rich history. While the Exodus Festival is long away, Fabric has kicked off the 23rd-anniversary celebrations this weekend on the 14th of October with a birthday event by DJ EZ, Vigro Deep, Dr. Banana, Girls Don't Sync, and more on night 1, and a 30-hr continuous party by Ricardo Villalobos, Dax J, VTSS, Afrodeutsche, KiNK, JASSS, and others to run for the rest of the weekend.
